Beaded Sweater Fastener
My mom passed a few years back and in with her jewelry were Sweater Clips and although they are not in good shape, I’ve kept them because they were my moms.
This is a piece made out of necessity but based on what my mom had, I made my granddaughter a vest and the way it was designed left no place for buttons so I made these clips to help keep it on her.
This pattern is free, please do not claim it as your own or change it - the way it is written allows for plenty of creativity so make them as gifts to give away, sell them or use for yourself. I found the alligator clips at Joann’s in the jewelry section.
Because hot glue is used I would not recommend putting these clips in the washer or dryer, if your sweater fastener needs to be cleaned, just put it in a small bowl of soapy water and use a towel to wring out and let it lay flat to dry
