This sparkling light-weight silk dress is just the ticket for a special event of an evening of dancing. The light-weight silk moves like a breeze and the beads twinkle and sparkle with the tiniest movement. The swing shape provides extra room where we need it. The dress bodice is knit in a contrast color (one 830-yard hank for all sizes) using a provisional cast on. The skirt is worked down from the provisional cast on using a contrast color, so the length can be easily adjusted. Bi-cone crystal beads highlight the waist and hemline.

Approximately 3000 beads were used for chest size 44 shown in the photographs.

I used a size 0.5mm crochet hook (smallest I could find) to add the beads.
