Beads and Cables Little Dog Sweater
Like the look of Aran cables and bobbles? Here is a pattern to make them into a sweet coat for your little dog! The textured pattern increases the insulating value of this coat, to keep your furbaby extra warm this winter!
Features that make this pattern extra special include:
♥ wide neck opening makes it easy on & off
♥ opening for a harness loop at the back
♥ uses worsted (medium) weight yarn or wool (Trim uses bulky weight)
♥ insulating texture makes it extra warm!
My Emma is a Shih Tzu/Bichon Frise cross, and is about 9-10 lbs.
This sweater’s dimensions are approximately:
Length 13” (33cm)
Neck 9.5” (24cm)
Chest 14” (35.5cm)
The pattern could also be adapted to fit your little dog – just add or subtract rows to change the length, or stitches to reduce the width! Keep in mind that the sweater will stretch, especially in length!
Difficulty level: Advanced
Materials:
- worsted weight yarn (Red Heart – Buff Fleck)
- bulky weight yarn (Patons Divine – Deep Earth)
- crochet hook, J-10 (6.00mm)
