Beads and Lace Shawl
This shawl is a crescent shaped with starting in the centre and gradually increasing in row length. The shawl is made up of repeats of several sections so you don’t get bored knitting the same thing over and over. It is best to use two yarns that are of a high contrast to really allow those slipped stitches to stand out and create impact. Adding beads to glint in the light makes this the shawl to catch attention!
Notes-
- there will always be two stitches outside the marker. The yarn over comes after slipping the marker at the beginning of the row and before slipping the marker at the end of the row.
-the yarns are carried down the side of the shawl to minimise the ends- don’t forget to twist them loosely to keep those edges neat and not too tight for blocking.
-If you do not wish to use beads them simply purl the stitch instead
