Bean Sprout Bag
Want to have a whole lotta fun with pure cotton yarn? Check out the adorable (and very useful!) Bean Sprout Bag. At about 5-1/2″ x 6 1/2″, this handy little cross body bag is perfect for hands free shopping, browsing or strolling. It’s big enough to hold keys, cards and phone without being cumbersome. I’ve used Rowan Handknit Cotton, but you could use just about any cotton or linen yarn that’s DK or light worsted in weight. Then throw caution to the wind and choose a big, fanciful button!
There are a couple of cool techniques detailed in this pattern that might be new. The One-Row Buttonhole and the Applied I-Cord Bind Off are interesting methods you’ll find yourself using again and again.
