Never satisfied with ‘plain’ or ‘basic’ - I’m always looking for ways to Elevate.
This is one of my favorite Elevated Flat Caps that I’ve created so far
The bean stitch gives a wonderful cross-hatch texture that adds depth as well as loft and spring to the hat.
Make it your own, with your favorite yarn - the possibilities are endless!

Skill Level: Intermediate

This will be an easy one day project for most.

The gauge was 2 bean stitches and 3 rows = 1.25”
There are 3 pattern sizes included - Adult Small, Medium and Large/XLarge

I happen to love, and make almost all my hats from, natural and luxury fibers - but this pattern will work fine with acrylic or blended yarns as well, in a worsted weight yarn.

Pattern assumes you are familiar with the following crochet stitches: Single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and bean stitch.
