The Beanie & Pacifier Blanket Set is an intermediate level knitting pattern but could also be perfect for the motivated beginner knitter. The pattern consists of knit, purl, knit together and knit front and back stitches, video links provided for additional guidance if needed.

To fit head size:

Preemie: 28-30cm/11-12’
0-3 months: 31-35cm/12.2-13.75’
3-6 months: 37-41cm/14.5-16.1’
6-12 months: 42-47cm/16.5-18.5’

Actual knitted beanie size:

Preemie: 25cm/9.8’
0-3 months: 30cm/11.8’
3-6 months: 36cm/14.2
6-12 months: 42/16.5

Hat length:

Preemie: 11cm/4.3’
0-3 months: 13cm/5.1
3-6 months: 15cm/5.9
6-12 months: 17cm/6.7’

The knitted beanies have a negative ease of approximately 5cm/2’.

It is highly recommended to knit a sample swatch to check your gauge to ensure that it matches the recommended gauge as closely as possible. Please note that if you should use a yarn with a different true gauge the measurements might vary.

The length of the beanie can be adjusted by adding or reducing repeats of rows 19 and 20, as indicated in the pattern.
