Beanie
Materials
Any aran weight wool or wool rich yarn will create a warm, cozy beanie.
I used 1(1:1:2:2:2) balls of Paintbox Yarns 100% Wool Worsted (100% superwash wool) per hat, in 1231 Seafoam Blue, 1223 Mustard Yellow, 1240 Royal Blue, 1250 Bubblegum Pink and 1204 Stormy Grey; 100g/200m/219yd
Size
Sizes given are roughly baby, toddler, child, teen, adult female, adult male, but measure around the fullest part of the head – roughly around the forehead – and choose the size that is slightly smaller than your head as the hat will stretch to fit.
Hat circumference is approx. 30(35:40:45:50:55)cm (113⁄4(133⁄4:153⁄4:173⁄4:193⁄4:213⁄4)in) to fit approx. 35(40:45:50:55:60)cm (133⁄4(153⁄4:173⁄4:193⁄4:213⁄4:233⁄4)in) head circumference.
