Über das Garn
Blue Faced Leicester ist eine britische Schafsrasse, die wegen ihrer besonderen Weichheit bekannt ist. Die Blacker Spinnerei in Cornwall spinnt und färbt dieses wunderbar weiche Garn für uns. Spinnung und Färbung sind besonders umweltfreundlich und nachhaltig. Für die Mütze wird das Lacegarn 2-fädig verarbeitet. Das Garn hat eine starke Spannkraft und entspannt sich nach dem Waschen, weshalb es sich auch sehr gut für Lacetücher eignet (1-fädig mit Nd 3,5 mm). Die Maschenprobe also unbedingt waschen. Bitte ausschließlich mit der Hand waschen.

Blue Faced Leicester is a british sheep breed very well known for its outstanding softness. The Blacker spinning mill in Cornwall spins and dyes this marvelous soft yarn especially for us. The spinning and dying process is particularly eco-friendly and sustainable. The laceweight is held double for this hat. The yarn has a strong resilience, but relaxes after washing. Therefore it is also a great choice for lace shawls (single stranded with 3,5 mm / US 4 ndl). It is absolutely necessary to wash the swatch. Handwash only.
