SIZE: CHILD (6 1/2” diameter and 8” height)

SKILL LEVEL: BEGINNER

MATERIALS:

HOOK “H” 5.0 mm

Any Worsted Weight 4 ply yarn. Two different colors.

Yarn Needle

Pom-Pom, size is your choice, or make one of yarn.

Stitch Marker to keep track of rounds.

“GAUGE PATTERN”
2 INCHES BY 2 INCHES
ch9, hdc in second ch from the hook and in next 7 (8 hdc), turn.
ch1, hdc in each across. (8 hdc) Repeat. You should have a swatch of 5 rows of 8 hdc measuring 2 inches high by 2 inches long.
If your swatch is larger you will want to use a smaller hook, as you crochet looser than me. If your swatch is smaller, you will want to use a larger hook as you crochet tighter than me.
