Beanie Cloche Hat
This original design from Award Winning Designer Marianne Henio is for the Beanie-Cloche Hat. Marianne has designed it so that it can be worn in different ways.
Download the pattern book in Digital format. It comes from Marianne’s series of easy to knit patterns for the beginner up. Seed stitch is used in the Beanie-Cloche Hat. This is a mixture of knit and purl stitches.
Diagrammatical schematics and measurement gauges are given so any choice of yarn can be used. You could also convert the schematics to suit your bespoke measurements. Marianne has recommended certain yarn types but you can choose your own favourites.
This pattern is suitable for beginners to intermediate knitters.
This pattern is written in the new ‘easy to understand’ format which makes your job easy and uses less ink if printing out! Just check out the Abbreviations chart.
Needle size 4mm to give a tight knit and thick fabric.
Yarn used: I used 5 strands together – 1 x chunky pure wool, 4 x fine boucle in different colours.
