MATERIALS:

I used super bulky yarn #6 and an US L/11 (8mm) hook.

You can choose super bulky, bulky or two strands of medium weight yarn held together for the project. You will find tips how to adapt the pattern to your yarn weight as you crochet.

For the beanie you will need about 130-160 yards (120-150 m) of super bulky yarn depending on the size you choose. If you decide to work with lighter weight yarn, you will need more yards / meters of yarn.

The beanie is worked bottom-up in one piece, the rounds are joined with an invisible join so no “back” side to worry about.
