Crochet level:
- Intermediate.

You should know how to crochet following stitches:
ch (chain), sl st (slip stitch), sc (single crochet), hdc (half double crochet), dc (double crochet), tr (treble crochet).

This pattern includes:

• detailed step-by-step pictures with written instructions;
• schematic;
• Instructions are given in English language, American crochet terminology.

Crochet hooks:
- Boye 2.75 mm or size to obtain gauge crochet hook.

Recommended materials:

• Knit Picks Palette Yarn (100% Peruvian Highland Wool, fingering weight, 50 g / 231 yards / 211 m) – 1 ball / 25 (30, 35, 40) g in Raspberry Heather, 1 ball / 8 (10, 12, 15) g in Rose Hip, 1 ball / 10 (10, 12, 12) g in Conch and 1 ball / 15 (16, 18, 20) g in Green Tea Heather colors;
• tapestry needle to weave in ends;
• little amount of polyester fiberfill to fill pom-pom or use ends, left after fastening off.

Sizes:
- 45 - 46 (48 – 49, 52.5 – 54, 56 - 58) cm /17 5/8 – 18 1/8 (18 7/8 – 19 ¼, 20 5/8 – 21 ¼, 22 – 22 ¾)’’ head circumference / 15.5 (19, 22.5, 24) cm / 6 (7 3/8, 8 7/8, 9 3/8)’’ deep, later in the pattern sizes 45 (48, 52.5, 56).

Gauge:
- Motif is 7.5 cm (2 7/8)’’ in diameter for sizes 45 and 52.5 and 8 cm (3 1/8’’) for sizes 48 and 56.

Notes:
What could be challenging and new to some is connecting motifs as you go by making joins. If not convenient, connecting could be done by sewing motifs together over the edges.
