Beanie No. 1 is a soft, thick and warm hat, knit in fisherman’s rib. It’s designed as a unisex style, and can be worn by both men and women.

The hat is knit with a mix of merino and mohair, just for the little extra fluff, but if you prefer a rather classic look, you can easily exchange the mohair yarn with thread of merino or alpaca.

PLEASE NOTICE! 26 rows in fisherman’s rib count only as 13 knit sts.

Remember that the needle size is just a recommendation. Please knit a gauge swatch first to make sure, that the hat’s proportions are correct.

100 (100) g Arwetta from Filcolana 50 g / 210 m together with 50 (50) g Silk Mohair 25 g / 210 m

The hat is knit with double thread of each quality – i.e. with 4 threads in total.
