This mainly ribbed beanie uses basic cables between alternating straight rows to create a kind of traveling effect.

MATERIALS
Vickie Howell Sheep(ish) Yarn by Bernat, 3oz/85g skeins, each approx 167yd/153m (acrylic/wool)
• 1 skein in color grey(ish) or teal(ish)
• Size US 8 (5mm), circular needle 16–20”/40–50cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size US 8 (5mm) dpns
• Cable needle
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers (optional)

Small/Medium (Large/X-Large)
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Head circumference approx 18 (20½)“/45.5 (52)cm
GAUGE
18 sts and 20 rnds = 4”/10 cm over cable/rib pat using 8 (5mm) needle.
