Before you start:
Please read pattern fully before making your item. This pattern is written is US terminology. The item is worked in rows back and forth, with a ch2 and turn at end of each row. This ch2 is not classed as a working stitch. Gauge is not important, but try to crochet the same tightness all the way through.

Materials:

6mm Crochet Hook
Chunky Yarn in desired colour (for the ones shown in the photo at the beginning of this post, I used Stylecraft Chunky for the Pink one and King Cole Magnum Chunky for the blue one. But any chunky yarn, super chunky or Aran yarn would work. Even DK for a lighter hat may work). Different yarns will change the amount of stitches and rows required.
