This cap is knit in the round, bottom-up. It starts with a half-twisted ribbing on the band, and switches over to stockinette, while the beanstalk motif rick-racks up the rise. There are 7 sizes, intended to fit children through adults (band circumferences 15-21 inches, intended to fit with two inches of negative ease…but this is easily customizable), and the design is unisex.

The pattern rows are charted and written. Since one cap uses far less than a full skein of worsted weight yarn, stashbusting is certainly an option!
