This adorable pattern can be made into a blanket, baby blanket, afghan, lap blanket or throw. It is made using the Classic C2C crochet, which uses chain stitches and double crochet. It also involves color changes.

Gauge: 4 C2C Squares = 3″
20 sts x 5 rows = 4” x 4”
Finished Size: 50 squares x 50 squares=Approx. 37 1/2” x 37 1/2″
(Yours could be smaller or larger depending on your gauge)

Yarn: To make this pattern, you can use any worsted weight yarn. I recommend Hobby Lobby, I Love This Yarn. Other affordable yarn options would be Red Heart Super Saver or Caron Simply Soft. Similar 4 weight yarns may be substituted, but be sure to check your gauge.
