This and our Bear Claw Beanie were our April 2023 Sock and Accessory Club patterns.
After living in the beautiful Ketchikan for the past 27 years we left in December 22 for new adventures in our Motorhome. This pattern is near and dear to my heart, my family has a funny story about me goosing a bear in our yard, so Bear Claw socks and Beanie are a reminder of a funny family story.

This is an intermediate to advanced pattern because you do have increases and decreases that change your round count as your knitting the claws.

80% Merino Wool, 20% Nylon
400 yards per 100g skein
Needles: 2.5mm / US 1.5
I knit two at a time socks on 16” circular needles, Needle 1 is your
instep stitches and Needle 2 is the sole of your sock.
