The Bear Creek Baby Blanket Digital .pdf download is an easy crochet pattern that combines mosaic overlay with bobbles to create a sweet, snuggly, modern, and textured baby blanket with all the squish! The pattern is one-sided because of the nature of the techniques used. The backside develops an attractive striped pattern all its own and looks great too (see product photos)!

The pattern includes both written row by row instructions as well as charted diagrams, explanations, and photos of special stitches and techniques making it accessible to crocheters of many different skill levels and preferences. The overlay mosaic sections are very basic and fun to work up! They provide a great introduction to the technique if you have never tried it before!

The pattern repeats can be increased or decreased to result in different dimensions or compensate for slight differences when making a yarn substitution for another brand or fiber type. The pattern also includes suggestions regarding yarn substitutions as well as 2 options to finish off the edges of the blanket, i.e. fringe or an envelope border (shown in product photos).

As with all of my crochet patterns, the Bear Creek Baby blanket was inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the Western US!
