Bear Face is a relatively simple introduction to intarsia. I have provided links to youtube videos to help beginners.

It has been designed in three sizes:

Small would fit a small childs head (2-4 years) with a circumference of approximately 19-22” (48cm-56cm).

Medium would fit a slightly larger head with a circumference of approximately 22-25” (56-63cm).

Large for a head over 25” (63cm) or somebody with thick curly hair.

The eyes can either be made out of felt or crocheted disks. I have not included instructions for how to make crocheted disks, as this stage.

This pattern would make a great stash/scrap buster for any pieces of DK/8ply you’d like to use up.
