The Bear Family crochet pattern includes a detailed photo tutorial on how to crochet these adorable bears and their accessories. You will need to know basic amigurumi and crochet skills such as: an invisible single crochet decrease, making a magic circle and crocheting in the round. I also have included two different photo tutorials for their noses (a triangle nose or a round nose) for each size bear.

Size: You can use any hook size as well as yarn size but if you use my recommended yarn and hook size Mama and Papa Bear are about 8” tall and the Bitty Bears are about 4.5” tall.

You will need:

2.75mm crochet hook (or hook size of choice)
worsted weight yarn (one skein each of Lily Sugar ‘n Cream in Jute and Warm Brown)
yarn needle
worsted weight yarn in a variety of colors for accessories
Black yarn for nose embroidery
4 - 6mm safety eyes
4 - 9mm safety eyes
stuffing
scissors
sewing pins
yarn needle
pink felt (optional)
fabric glue (optional)
