You can embroider an initial on shorts to personalize it. It has rather slim body, will be fast to crochet, easy for a baby to grab it and effortless to wash and dry.

You can use any yarn. I use either Cotton Gold, Yarn Art Jeans or Anette Eriksson Jeans. Alternatively, you can use any yarn, but preferably half cotton one. The size is measured as full body length - 30 cm with the yarn I have mentioned above. Crochet hook - 3 mm.
