Notes:
This would be considered an intermediate skill level pattern. It is made entirely by single crochet, but you must have a clear understanding of single crochet increase/decrease!

Materials:
You will need yarn, 3.50 mm crochet hook, poly-fill for stuffing, tapestry needle, scissors, 30.00 mm safety eyes! Optionally you may need felt or embroidery floss for facial details.

Let’s talk about yarn!
You will need #4 worsted weight yarn for this project. You will need 100 yards of main body color as well as 25 yards of a 2nd color for the muzzle of your bear. Also, you will need a scrap amount of black yarn for the nose. I used BIG TWIST VALUE yarn. Feel free to use any color or brand of yarn you would like as long as it #4 worsted weight yarn.

Final Measurement:
Your finished bear should measure 8 ½ inches tall by 6 ½ inches wide.

Gauge:
Gauge is not extremely important for this pattern. You just want your stitches to be tight enough that poly-fill won’t poke out!

Abbreviations:
