Since Ely, Mn (the town our shop is located in) has the International Bear Center, we made a hat (and matching mittens) to celebrate our woodland friend.
This is a nice fitting hat, worked from the bottom up in stranded colorwork.

We used Finullgarn, but any fingering weight yarn will work.
Yarn needed:
Background color (cream) – 191 yards
Bear Color – 50 yards
Leaves – 50 yards
Red – 25 yards

Sizing
Finished measurement is ~20” around

Yarn
Rauma Finullgarn or any fingering weight yarn that will knit at 8 sts. to 1”

Gauge
6 sts. to 1 inch in Color work

Needles
16” Circular- Size 4 and 5
Double Pointed - Size 5
