Beartooth Hat is a pattern that I designed while in the car on the way to backpack the Beaten Path, which is one of the most beautiful trails in Montana located in the Beartooth Mountains. The hat is a very simple, quick knit in bulky yarn and would make a great gift.

The pattern also includes details on how to increase or decrease the hat circumference, and also how to increase or decrease the height of the hat to fit the size that you need.

Sizes available:
Child, (Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large)
16’’, (18’’, 20’’,22’’) circumference.

Needle: Size US10, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Yarn:
72, (82, 92, 102) yards of Western Sky Knits Biggie or bulky weight yarn of your choice. Additional yarn will be needed for a swatch or if you choose to do a yarn pom.

Sample is shown in the Adult Small size, in the “Stix Birthday” colorway, which was created exclusively for Stix yarn shop’s birthday party in 2019.
