An advanced beginner knit that is knit flat. Adorned with a braid around the brim and optional
pom poms to make it extra adorable for the littles!

Materials Suggestions:
2 Colors of Super Bulky Yarn

Yardages
Color 1 MC: 606575 yds / 556070 m
Color 2 CC: 4 yds/ 4 m (all sizes)

Tools:
Super Bulky (weight 6) yarn in 2 colors. One main color and a small amount for the
contrast color in the braid. Yardages below.
• US 15 (10.0mm) circular needles – at least 16” or longer or DPNs if preferred method
OR needle size required to make gauge
• US 10.5 (6.5mm) double pointed needles for Icord ties (gauge is not super important
here)
• Darning needle
Optional: 2 Pom Poms approx. 3” diameter
