This loom knit slouchy hat uses a 48 peg round loom with a gauge of 5/8”. Examples of a loom this size include the original purple Knifty Knitter round loom & the adult hat round loom with the same specifications made by Premium Knitting Looms/CinDWood Crafts.

A 40 or 41 peg round loom with a gauge of 3/4” will also work.

The pattern calls for worsted weight yarn, but you could also use a light bulky weight yarn.
