This is a toque that I originally designed for my niece but have since made several times over. With earflaps and ties, it will keep baby’s ears warm. The cable up the front adds a design detail.

Pattern is written for size 6 months and 18 months.

Earflaps are worked separately, then the hat is joined in the round and worked in one piece until the top.

DK yarn and minimal yardage.
