Welcome to the pattern for our Beau Angel Wings Cat Jacket. This pattern adds a fun, angelic twist to our classic basic cat jacket. Sometimes angels can have wings AND whiskers!

CROCHET LEVEL:
All levels and suitable for beginners. Fundamental experience with basic crochet stitch techniques is required (see below). Working with feather yarn on the wings is optional but may require more advanced beginner skills.

MATERIALS:

• Yarn(s) of your choice for jacket and wings
• Feather yarn or other yarn for your wing border (optional)
• Crochet hook to suit your yarn
• Large button(s)
• Yarn and sewing needles
• Scissors
• Measuring tape
• Stitch markers (optional)
• Pipe cleaner(s) or wire (optional)
• Pins to pin the wings to the jacket before sewing

STITCHES/TECHNIQUES:

• Slip knot onto hook
• Chain stitch and making a chain
• Single crochet (SC)
• Double crochet (DC)
• Double crochet triple increase
• Slip stitch
• Working into the 3rd loop on the back of a chain (optional)
• Tying off and tying on using your preferred methods
• Sewing wings to jacket
• Sewing on a button
• Weaving in ends
• Taking measurements and basic sizing of a garment
