The finished bear measures approximately 6cm (2⅜in) from top of hat to lower edge of ruff and 4.5cm (1¾in) wide.

Beau Bear wears a striking ruff with a bold stripe and a matching, pointed hat which is topped with a bright bobble. The bear is finished with embroidered details and a brooch bar. Beau also looks lovely displayed in a picture frame.
Inspired by the Commedia dell’Arte, Beau Bear is a member of an imaginary theatrical troupe.

I used Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat. The project takes just a small amount of each shade of thread.

• Stranded metallic embroidery thread

• Toy stuffing
• 2.5cm (1in) brooch bar
