The Beautiful Bow Fingerless Gloves are the perfect companion to the Beautiful Bow Turban Hat. They both share the same ribbing and bow detail.

I didn’t really get the fingerless glove concept, that is, until I tried a pair and now I am sold. I am one of those people that hates cold hands so I am always reaching for a pair of gloves. I like how these keep my hands warm but allow for finger dexterity…hello phone screen!

Fingerless gloves are practical in all kinds of situations. Besides the usual things we think about like driving, biking, outdoors, etc., they are also comforting for those that suffer health issues that cause cold, aching hands and wrists

Gauge
A design feature with these gloves is that they are not made to gauge. Instead , they are made to measurements. This features allows for customization along the making process and takes in account the differences in crochet tension, yarn weights and yarn stretch. My design, pictured in the red, has been made with double strands of #4 weight yarn but it can be made with other weights and hook sizes if you stick to the measurements and adjust the stitch counts accordingly.

Level: Beginner -3
I would classify these gloves a beginner pattern as they are made from a rectangle. However, the rectangle starts with a foundation row using FSC and FHDC which can be trickier. There are detailed instructions on how to make theses stitches, in fact, my testers said my instructions are the best they have seen and that “they will save them for reference”. If you follow the instructions, I think even a beginner can tackle this pattern.
