This handbag is constructed from a large rectangle. To get the popcorn look we use the bobble stitch. The bobble stitch makes your handbag stand out. If you never tried the bobble stitch before this is a fun and beautiful way to learn this stitch, give it a try. The finished handbag measurements are approximately 8 1/2’’ wide and about 7’’ tall without the handle. This handbag comes in only one size. The yarn we will use to make this handbag is the Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo yarn medium 4 – 100% acrylic the color yarn is Cherry Red. For the handle of this handbag we will use a plastic pearl bag handle chain strap. To attach the handle to the handbag we will use two round spring snaps (keychain) on both sides of the handbag. With the plastic pearl bag handle chain strap and the round spring snap (keychain) half the work is already done for us. The lining for the handbag is optional but I highly recommend it because it really makes your handbag look professional and adds some extra security to it.
