This airy, feminine and flowing shawl was inspired by Belle’s ball gown in “Beauty & the Beast”. I loved watching how the dress moved while she danced and the bright, cheerful color. This 3/4 crescent shaped, chevron lace shawl is knit in 5 consecutive wedge sections and ends with an increasing fan stitch for a sweet, ruffly edge.

Notions needed:

6 stitch markers (2 of one color for garter edges and 4 of another color), 4 clip on stitch markers (or small safety pins), scissors, tapestry needle, row counter (or pen & paper), blocking wires and pins, waste yarn/dental floss in a contrasting color for provisional cast on and for making a lifeline (optional).
