Beaux-Arts is a romantic shawl, worked from the top down and finished with an elegant lace border. It begins with a cast-on of just five stitches. In every right-side row, two stitches are increased at each edge and two at the center, forming a shallow triangle with beautifully long wings.

The border features a delicate combination of yarn overs, decreases, and nupps, creating a lace pattern that feels both glamorous and poetic.

Yarn
Approximately 1040 yards (950 meters) of lace weight yarn, 520 yards (475 meters) of main color and 520 yards (475 meters) of contrasting color
