Easy, beginner friendly pattern
Can be easily adapted for any gauge

This shawl was made for a friend with a leftover of her Noro yarn – wool and silk mix. The target was to make a simple yet stylish triangular shawl.

Finished size of the shawl pictured - after blocking:
197cm (77.5 inch) at the longest side, 72cm (28 inch) at the widest part - for this I used abour 430m of aran weight yarn.
However you are free to make it the size of your choice.

Even though gauge is not crucial in this pattern, I strongly recommend making a swatch to make sure you have the right match of yarn and needle size for a fabric you like.

I very much suggest making a swatch in stockinette and in garter stitch to determine the needles sizes to make sure you have the same row gauge in both. Meaning you might have to change the needle size half way through the project.
Had some information that some knitters end up with different length of the two parts otherwise.
I happen to have the same gauge on both (I guess my tension is different then so it compensates for the difference others may encounter).

The pattern was only tested by me - please bear this in mind.
