This pattern I would consider an intermediate pattern. Some knowledge or ability to learn FPDC/BPDC/FPTC is necessary.

I wanted to make a hat with just a little cabling for some flair. So thats how I ended up with this pattern! This hat is quick to make and is constructed top-down.

Any worsted weight and hook combination should work AS long as the gauge is met. Play around with hook size/yarn size until you get the gauge.
