In celebration of Earth Day, a pattern that honors bees and all that they do to make this world a better place. From the stitch patterns used to the yarn choice, this simple yet elegant rectangular wrap, says yes to the planet.

I choose to use a Shibui yarn called “Twig” in the color pollen because I wanted to bring out the bee theme but also wanted to use a yarn with some linen. The blend of linen, silk and wool makes for a stunning combination that is earthy but also sophisticated.

There are three sections to this wrap, the bee border, an open meadow, and a final row of flowers. It’s hard to see the bees when you’re knitting the wrap but upon blocking, the bees emerge in all their glory.
