Bee Kind Dishcloth
Sorry, I gave away my dishcloth before thinking of measuring and weighing it. You will need most of the 50gr ball of 100% cotton yarn.
Most of this pattern simply requires the basics of knitting, cast on, cast off, knit and purl. However, because the bees require more intricate skills for knitting, I would suggest that this pattern be more suited to an intermediate knitter. Skills needed for the bees are psso, sl, yo, and turn work in the middle of a row.
Please choose a set of needles a size or two smaller than you would normally use to knit this yarn and choose a solid colour yarn. When you are done, block your dishcloth. These three suggestions will help the picture to ‘pop’.
Thank you so much to Sue on Rav, who gave me this idea and for Tunie, peacockmom on Rav, who absolutely persisted in figuring out how to do the bees and has knit this dishcloth twice. No matter what, Tunie is always open to test knitting for me, even through some of the rather strange ideas that I come up with!! Thanks so much Tunie!!
