This pattern is a surprise motif that emerges as you knit it that was included in Paradise Fibers Fiber of the Month Club in February 2020. My square was 14x11.5 inches using a light worsted yarn and size 6 needles. Use whatever yarn appeals to you and the needle to make a reasonable firm fabric with it. The smaller the needle and yarn, the smaller the square. Not recommended for anything over Aran weight and size 8 needles.
