Bee-utiful Bee Applique
by Queen Babs
This pattern is
available for free.
These cute bees I designed to be part of the ‘Garden of Imagination’ yarnbomb which was part of the Sydney Garden Show featured in Centennial Parklands in Sydney, Australia in September 2014. It measured 1 metre wide and over 2 metres long.
The yarnbomb was based on my childhood drawings of gardens and I needed bees that we just right. :)
I used 8ply yarn and a 3.75mm hook, but a 4mm would do too.
Very small amounts of yarn in black, yellow and white required.
A yarn needle and Scissors are needed too.
They would great on a flower, blanket, clothing or baby hat too.
