This pattern creates a textured stripe slouchy beanie using worsted weight yarn and a size J crochet hook. A decorative button is sewn on the tab of the beanie’s brim. Lion Brand Heartland works well for this hat, but any worsted weight yarn will do.

The finished slouchy beanie will measure approximately 9 inches from the top of the hat to the edge. The hat should fit a head circumference between 19” and 23”.
