This is a generous, double looped cowl with a medium density fabric worked in a series of texture forming stitches. It is worked with 150 or more grams of DK or heavier yarn.

It is knit in the round on circular needles and can be modified to form a narrower or wider cowl as yarn permits.

Gauge is not critical for this pattern. The firmer the texture, the stiffer the cowl. A looser or denser gauge will have an impact on overall size however this is generous enough to easily accommodate modifications.
