New Pattern BeeHive Hexagon

Bzzzzzzzz, the summer holidays are over (for me). With pride I present to you BeeHive, an other original design by AdO Crochet.

It is my first hexagon and it is available in 3 languages: English, German and Dutch. The pattern is symmetric so it is for left- and right-handed crocheters.
The pattern comes in two techniques: Overlay mosaic crochet and interlocking filet crochet. Both techniques have tutorials, x-charts, extensive written pattern and for mosaic a large printable x chart.
I added a photo tutorial for interlocking and a video tutorial (of an octagon, as the basics are similar) for mosaic.
The pattern works in the round, from the centre out, so no yarn cutting for mosaic and no turning front and back for interlocking.

Based on hook size 2,2mm (US B/C)
Pattern colour A, 1700m, 1850y
Background colour B, 1600m, 1750y.
Size from top to bottom 99cm, 39inches (side to side)

Based on hook 3mm (US D)
Pattern colour A 3300, 3550y
Background colour B 3300 or 3500y
Size from top to bottom 162cm, 64 inches

Size will depend on tension, hook size and yarn thickness
Keep in mind when you change your hook size or yarn ply your work needs more or less yarn

The ombre yarn I used was a custom made 3 ply ombre provided by BrambleWood Yarns. In the English pattern you will find a code for 15% (you can choose any colourway you like but keep in mind if you order a 4ply you need more yarn).
