Beer Stein Dishcloth
Some time ago my husband suggested that I design a beer stein dishcloth, and every once in awhile he’d ask if I was still going to make one. He is very pleased with what I came up with! The feature design on the beer stein is my variation of the “Palm Leaf stitch” found on page 29 in The Essential Stitch Collection book by Lesley Stanfield & Melody Griffiths.
Many thanks to Heike, in Germany, and Tunie, in Australia for test knitting my pattern. Their help has been invaluable!!
My finished dishcloth weighs in at 43 gr. and measures 9” square.
As well as the basic knit and purl stitches, pattern stitches “tbl”, “t2L” and “t2R” are used in knitting this dishcloth.
