Because bees are beautiful.
And this is a quick pattern as homage to them.

Please try and use similar yarn (I’ve added a link to a yarn sub account if you can’t get hold of the brand I recommended) - I only say that because I chose the yarn for the best fluffy, furry effect I could find (unless you choose to knit with faux fur of course - now would be a thing!)

I’ve also added a link to those oval eyes and to which wire I used for the legs…

And that’s it really - except to say that I’m so impressed with how knitting with kid-silk looks like ethereal wings!
