Bees in a Box
The humble bumblebee is one of natures most delightful creatures. This pattern is a celebration of Bombus Terrestris, the most common bumblebee found in Europe.
This pattern is perfect for knitters who want to try knitting in miniature for the first time. The pattern is written so that you are working flat and there are plenty of photographs to help with finishing and assembling the bee. Shaping is simple and although the finished item measures only an inch or so, the process is not too fiddly. If you have knitted a baby sock or bootie, you can knit this.
This pattern is part of the Bee-Book which has a few patterns that share my love of bees and knitting. Thank you for looking!
