Bees In My Honey Shawlette
This is an intermediate beginner pattern.
This asymmetrical shawlette was so much fun to make. The yarn I used was from Unplanned Peacock Studio’s Twinkle Twist, superwash merino, fingering weight. I used 1 skein in color Clockwork Orange and 2 skeins of color Golden Parade Tulip. Tools needed: hook D3/3.25, stitch marker, scissors and darning needle. The shawlette is made up of hexagons pieced together and finished with a surrounding border. I blocked the hexagons before connecting them together. Blocked, the hexagons measured 4 inches across. Stitch gauge is 2x2 inches = 12dc x 6 rows. Shawlette measures 50 inches x 24 inches at widest side.
Stitches used: chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, puff, bobble, back post single crochet, front post single crochet, clones knot, waist coat
