This charming purse is knitted in a honeycomb stitch pattern and features pleated sides and a large front pocket.

Using bulky weight yarn and a size 10 needle, this purse knits up fairly quickly. 272 yards are needed. Shown here, made with 2 balls of Knit Picks Brava Bulky. This purse uses every bit of yarn in the 2 balls of Brava. If you think you might want to go taller, or have the handles a bit longer, I would have 3 balls of yarn on hand to make sure you don’t run out.

While you don’t have to line this purse, I would recommend at least lining the handles with ribbon to prevent them stretching out.
