Bees'n'Bugs'n'Butterflies Wreath
A beautifully lush wreath for nature-lovers, this project works up quickly and is great for using up bits and pieces of stash yarn.
You will need:
• 23cm polystyrene ring (I used a full circle, but you can use a half-circle just as well).
• Several pipe cleaners, or craft or gardening wire – about 25 cm. I used garden soft tie wire.
• Small quantities of DK yarn in black, red, yellow, green, white, orange, and dark brown. I used Stylecraft Special DK in black, lipstick, citron, saffron, kelly green, white, spice and dark brown.
• A larger quantity of DK yarn in light blue. I used Stylecraft Special DK in cloud blue.
• 3mm crochet hook.
• 4mm crochet hook.
• Tapestry needle for sewing in ends.
• Sewing thread (the colour doesn’t matter; I used white) and needle.
• Small quantity of polyfill stuffing.
Pattern is written in US terms.
